Marqués del Atrio Winery
Near Mendavia, between the fertile plain of the river Ebro and the Sierra de Codés, this winery stands in the shape of an "Atrium", where the vines guarantee grapes of supreme quality.
The winery was built in 2003 with the intention of creating, in a unique environment between the vineyards and the mountains, exceptional wines under the Marqués del Atrio label from DOCa Rioja.
State-of-the-art facilities with the most advanced technology combine to produce the highest quality wines.

These terms define the identity of Bodegas Marqués del Atrio and were forged when Jesús Rivero led this dream with the aim of producing a wine of excellent quality and which, above all, had all the personality that one of the best areas of Rioja has to offer and which showcased the family’s extensive experience in the world of wine dating back more than 100 years.
Always seeking the constant improvement of the quality of our wine, we have made important improvements in our vineyards and winery, especially in recent years, during which we have dedicated a very special interest to studying the different plots of these vineyards, to the development and ageing of each subplot separately and to the study of the soils, determining where the best quality grapes are found and discarding those that do not reach the quality required by the great wines of international prestige.
